HISTORY

The Company starts its operating activities. In May that year, the first original products by the Company appear on the Polish market — DERMENA anti-hair loss shampoo, THERMI care and soothing gel and ACCOS anti-acne gel. The launching of innovative formulations patented in several countries is the capstone of many years of research conducted by Łódź University of Technology in collaboration with Medical University of Łódź.

PHARMENA founds Pharmena North America Inc. based in Boston (USA), which is to concentrate on conducting clinical trials in the USA and Canada. In November 2006, PHARMENA founds DERMENA North America Inc. based in Boston (USA), aimed at marketing dermocosmetics manufactured by the Company in the United States.

The Company transforms its legal form from private limited company into public limited company.

the Company starts a cooperation with Rossmann and Hebe drugstore chains in Poland.

The Company applies to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in London for the authorisation of 1-MNA as a novel food ingredient.

PHARMENA, as the first Polish company, successfully registers 1-MNA as novel food in the European Union.

PHARMENA starts a global cooperation with Amazon EU in terms of selling the Company’s products on the Amazon e-commerce platforms.

The Company finishes preclinical studies aimed at determining the effective dose of 1-MNA, a drug candidate in pulmonary fibrosis and viral infections.
